It was a "spur-of-the-moment" decision - we had an unexpected, beautiful day so we scraped our planned outing and decided to walk to the top of Arthur's Seat. Arthur's Seat is the name of an ancient, extinct, volcano that is roughly 1 mile from Edinburgh Castle. Getting to the top isn't too taxing, but it does take some determination. Once you get to the top of the 822 ft hill you are rewarded with beautiful views of the city and surrounding area. Watch our video below of Arthur's Seat.
